Bobcat
I was very excited to spot and follow this adult Bobcat along the Vista Trail in the hills of Sunol Regional Wilderness (Alameda County, USA). Hauling my heavy-duty tripod and 400mm + 2x teleconverter, I strategically flanked this good-sized cat with the hope of locating myself ahead of its path. Because the coat of this feline is so well matched to its habitat, I nearly failed to realize that my efforts were successful.
