CLIENT: Salesforce - Developers
BACKGROUND: 170,000 IT professionals, developers, partners and customers experienced four days of super-charged technology, innovation, inspiration, training, networking and yes, even recreation at this year’s Dreamforce event in S.F. (Oct. 4-7). Billed as the world’s largest non-profit technology conference, Salesforce employees, dressed as park rangers helped guide guests through its Trailhead themed displays and activities.
ASSIGNMENT: I was hired to provide complete coverage of the Trailhead portion of the Dreamforce event with images of participants, sponsors, vendors, keynotes, and activities while emphasizing the ambience, fun, diversity and spirit that is Dreamforce. During the event, imagery was posted on social media sites and blogs. After the event a library of images was provided to the client to be used during the coming year online and in promotional materials.
CHALLENGES: Capturing a constant stream of useful imagery through multiple events and activities occurring over 5 days in a 100,000sf decorated exhibit hall with massive crowds and very low ambient light levels.
